Not every journal comes out exactly the way we hoped. Some pick up a few extra scratches, a tannery stamp, color variation, or another cosmetic quirk that keeps them out of our standard collection.

Rather than throw away perfectly good leather, we give these Journal Kits a second chance. They're built the same way, include the same brand-new notebook inserts and accessories, and are ready for years of use. The only difference is a little extra character.

Because leather was once part of a living animal, we believe it deserves better than being discarded over a few cosmetic imperfections.
