Use these templates to make the ever-popular Midori (Travelers) or "Fauxdori" style notebook cover. They have also been popularized by other brands like Paper Republic. The notebook inserts are readily available on Amazon, Etsy, eBay, and other retailers. 

Trace the outline of the template and punch the marked holes. You can opt for creating a three hole cover style, or, just use the center holes for a one hole style.

 You’ll need to provide your elastic cord for the closures— we use 2mm elastic cord in our examples but use 1mm if you wish to replicate a Paper Republic style.

If you are purchasing the acrylic templates, please choose whether you want square corners or rounded corners.

  • Passport Size Notebook (003): 5" x 3.5" (127 mm x 89 mm)

  • Traveler Size Notebook (001): 4.3" x 8.3" (114 mm x 216 mm)

  • Pocket Size Notebook:  3.5" x 5.5" (88.9 mm × 139.7 mm)
